Instagram Success Stories

UI/UX | 2020

My role in Facebook’s Small Business Team was to help design internal facing pages for small business owners to access. This specific Instagram campaign featured real businesses’ and their success stories as a way to showcase their success but also allow other businesses gain tips & tricks to help grow their own business. The key objective of this campaign was to increase advertiser retention by helping them find value in advertising and improve their success.

The team partnered up with photography agency Bone & Gold to interview and film ten businesses in multiple countries (UK, Latin America, and the US). The final collateral of this campaign consisted of a Success Story Hub, four landing pages, and multiple emails that incorporated the photography and film.

Process

The campaign would start with emails sent to advertisers. From there, depending on the email and CTA, the advertiser would be lead to their personalized recommendation, which consisted of them either taking a quiz or not.

Instagram branding consisted of radial gradients thats a varying color scheme. My first iterations of the landing pages were fairly by-the-book, implementing the branding colors that were mainly Facebook’s and not Instagrams.

The campaign also needed a hub which readers can view all the success stories at once.

My final versions encompassed the spirit of Instagram’s branding while having the content be enjoyable and breathable for the reader to digest.
